Are you self isolating or in need of assistance?  Walford Community Support Scheme is a group of local volunteers who give their time to help anyone in need.  We are working in any way we can to help people in need in our Parish.

We endeavour to always be available to answer the phone, but at times the mobile signal can be very weak. If you get voicemail, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

All over the parish and surrounding areas Scarecrows have been appearing to brighten the day of passers by, and show support for Key Workers and Volunteers.

Here is the latest by Jackie and Alan on Leys Hill.  If you are passing by on your Exercise Walk or on the way to do some Essential Shopping or Work stop off for a minute and tie on a coloured ribbon to show your support for our wonderful NHS workers.  It’s opposite CATS entrance.

Colts Village Stores and Filling Station have announced that due to the current situation regarding the Covid-19 Virus they will temporarily be CLOSED as of Wednesday 8th April until further notice.  Colts, “apologise for any inconvenience caused, and thank all our amazing customers for their support!”

Yvonne Richards, a Herefordshire Council employee, has been assigned to be the Covid-19 Response Link Worker for the Kerne Bridge Ward, which includes Walford Parish.  She has been sent information about what’s going on in the Parish re: The Community Support Scheme and Food Hubs etc.

Although The Cross Keys Inn at Goodrich are closed, Richard is still supplying these fabulous food boxes  to order.  With pickup from the pub.  Simply call 01600890692 to place your order, payment by PayPal or transfer then arrange collection.
