3. public participation session – no questions
4. Update on progress – List of authorities contacted given and update on hedgerow destruction Leys Hill
5. Environment Policy – Discussion of content and wording
6.Climate emergency – it was unanimously decided to ask the council to declare a climate emergency at the next meeting in support of Herefordshire CC and many parish councils to draw attention to the problems we are facing and to look for solutions.
7.Re-cycling – various re-cycling solutions were discussed and more discussions were felt to be needed after attending the recycling talk by Envirosort.
8. various aspects of green tourism were discussed including cycle paths and secure bike racks.
9.S106 wish list – After discussion it was suggested that a white board was used at the Parish Party to get input from residents.
10. Invasive species – after discussion it was decided that further investigation into solutions was required.
11. Public participation session – A member of the public enquired as to the purpose of an Environmental policy and a Declaration of Climate Emergency. Explanantions were given and web addresses containing further information were provided including Herefordshire Core Strategy, AONB management plan and Natural England web site.
