The weather is causing some problems on the roads around Walford Parish.
The B4234 is flooding between Hazelhurst Nursing Home and Colts Stores, but currently passable with care. On past experience this will get worse as water comes off the hills.
Leys hill is currently blocked by a fallen tree just above the Queech. This has now been cleared.

Most of the groups and clubs operate from one or other of the village halls or churches, but there are also after school clubs and more informal groups that meet throughout the parish.
